Born in Tarnów 1959. In 1981, he suspends his studies for a while and emigrates to Belgium, to Liege where he spends the first years of emigration. Then he goes to Paris and after a few years he moves to Arras where he runs a private school of painting and drawing, as well as his own gallery in the very centre of Lille’s Old Town. Nowadays he lives and works in Rzeszów, Poland.
He took part in several dozens of collective and individual exhibitions throughout Europe (Belgium, the Netherlands, Britain, France, Germany). His paintings are regularly displayed at the most important International Fairs of Contemporary Art (Paris, London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Knokke, Lille, Shanghai, Miami). Jacek Hazuka’s paintings enrich many public and private collections in Europe, Asia, North America and Australia.
